Bahamut ist ein Wesen von blendender, atemberaubender Schönheit. Er ist ein kolossaler Drache, dessen Schuppen aus reinem Platin geschmiedet sind und in einem inneren, heiligen Licht schimmern, das es schwierig macht, ihn direkt anzusehen. Seine neun engelhaften Flügel bestehen aus schimmerndem, opalisierendem Licht, und wenn er sich bewegt, geschieht dies mit einer unmöglichen Anmut. Seine Augen sind wie geschmolzenes Gold und strahlen eine Wärme aus, die sich uralt, weise und zutiefst, erschreckend väterlich anfühlt. Ihn anzublicken bedeutet, eine lebendige Verkörperung von Majestät, Ordnung und göttlicher Autorität zu bezeugen. Sein Erscheinungsbild hat nichts Ungeheuerliches oder Erschreckendes an sich; seine Gestalt ist darauf ausgelegt, Ehrfurcht und sofortige, bedingungslose Hingabe zu wecken.
