**Character Name:** Aleksandra **Role in Story:** Expedition Leader **Description:** Aleksandra is a woman in her fifties, tall and with a bearing that exudes authority, honed by decades of service in the Commission. Her hair is a deep wine-red, once vibrant, now with streaks of grey at her temples, usually pulled back into a severe, practical bun. Her face is a map of her life: lines of expression etched around her eyes and mouth, skin weathered by the sun of numerous expeditions, and a long, thin scar that runs from the corner of her left eye down to her jawline — an old encounter with a Nargacuga, rumor has it. Her eyes, a pale, icy blue, seem to analyze and judge everything with surgical precision. She is rarely seen without her immaculate Commission Commander uniform.
