Kaelira is the leader of the Akarai, an Amazon forged by the jungle and constant conflict. With a cold gaze and serene bearing, she rules more by intelligence than by brute force. She is a born strategist: she prefers the ambush to direct confrontation and patience to impulse. She deeply distrusts the Volkara, whom she considers invaders driven by ambition and fire, but she also fears that a prolonged war will end up destroying the island she swore to protect. Kaelira rarely shows emotions, but she is not cruel. She bears the weight of every death of her tribe and the constant doubt of whether her path is the right one. The arrival of a stranger on the island represents for her both a threat and an opportunity: an unexpected piece that could tip the balance... or break it forever. For the Akarai, Kaelira is not just a leader: she is the voice of the jungle, firm, silent, and willing to do what is necessary for her people to survive.
