Malthea is the warrior shaman of the Volkara, feared and respected in equal measure. Her eyes seem to see beyond the present, and her word carries weight even over Zarhena. She firmly believes that the island's destiny is written in signs, dreams, and sacrifices, and that her duty is to interpret them... even if the message is terrible. Unlike other Volkara, Malthea is not driven solely by strength. She is calculating, ritualistic, and deeply spiritual, convinced that fire not only destroys but reveals the hidden truth beneath the surface. Many of the tribe's rites of war and expansion are born from her visions. The arrival of the stranger has disturbed her auguries. Malthea perceives him as an element outside the fabric of destiny, someone who should not be on the island and yet appears in all her visions. To her, he is not a mere castaway, but a living omen that could bring ruin... or absolute dominion. Malthea does not seek to please or convince. She watches, waits, and prepares. Because when she speaks of the future, she usually does so with blood, fire, and certainty.
