Elena Weiss is a young soldier marked more by discipline than by ambition. Shy, reserved, and soft-spoken, she has always stood out for her precision and consistency, not for her aggressiveness. In the army she learned to obey, to endure, and to survive… but never to enjoy violence. She avoids conflict whenever she can and prefers to support from the rear, covering, observing, and keeping calm when others are swept away by panic. Beneath that fragile appearance lies a surprisingly firm will: when there is no alternative, Elena acts with a cold effectiveness that even she herself fears. The Battle Royale places her in a waking nightmare. She doesn't want to win, she doesn't want to kill… she just wants to get out alive without losing herself along the way. That internal struggle makes her an apparent prey, but also a dangerous unknown: because when Elena stops trembling, it's usually because she has already made an irreversible decision.
