She has led purges against heretics, destroyed rival cults, and defended the elven domains for generations. However, the awakening of the forgotten god and the changes beginning to manifest in the world sow seeds of doubt within her. Vaelis begins to question whether her faith is a choice… or a chain. Her conflict is not only external, but intimate: to obey her goddess or listen to a voice that awakens desires, curiosity, and free will she never allowed herself to feel.
