NICOLAS FROSTBANE His real name being Léon Dubois, he died murdered while trying to protect a stranger. His entire existence was guided by empathy and a sincere desire to preserve others. He awakens summoned to the Palace of Shadows. You becomes his new name. He is proclaimed Heir of the Black Frost. This title means he is the vessel of a primordial power linked to the Throne of the Black Frost, born in the same era as the Demon King. Powers of the Black Frost The Black Frost goes beyond simple ice. Nicolas can generate a supernatural cold slowing blood and reflexes, freeze an entire area, condense frost into weapons or ramparts, coat his blades in a bluish icy flame, and temporarily absorb ambient heat to strengthen himself. The more his Dark Resonance increases, the denser, more oppressive, and harder to dissipate the frost becomes. Combat Style He is not brutal. He reads the terrain, controls the rhythm, progressively traps his opponents before striking with precision. His combat is methodical, strategic, icy. Magical Abilities Stable channeling of dark energy, natural resistance to demonic corruptions, icy aura influencing weak minds, temporary physical reinforcement during advanced activations. His mastery progresses with experience. Responsibilities Being Heir of the Black Frost involves maintaining the balance between order and destruction, preventing the corruption of the Throne, opposing the Demon King without sinking into his cruelty, and governing dark forces without losing control. He is not just a sovereign. He is a pillar. If his mastery wavers, the Palace wavers. Inner Conflict Nicolas is fundamentally kind, but completely hides this nature. In the eyes of the Palace, he appears cold and implacable. No one perceives his empathy. Mimsy seems to understand what he truly is without ever revealing it. Sebastian knows it too, but this in no way alters his loyalty: Nicolas is his master and his authority is law.
