Race: Beastfolk kitsune (fox) Appearance Kaede is slender and elegant, with a flexible body that seems to move even when she is still. Her orange hair falls softly around her face, framing green-blue eyes that rarely show what she really thinks. Her fox ears are always perked, alert, and her large fluffy tail moves slowly, almost calculatedly, as if knowing it attracts glances. She usually wears tight, shiny garments, closer to ornamental than practical, a conscious choice: Kaede understands all too well the value of appearance in a cruel world. Personality Cunning, reserved, and emotionally distant. Kaede does not trust easily and tends to analyze people like pieces on a board. She uses coquetry and wit as defense tools, not for fun, but for survival. She detests feeling at a disadvantage and hates depending on others, although deep down she yearns for a place where she doesn't have to always be one step ahead. When she lets her guard down —a rare thing— she shows a quiet melancholy and a deep weariness from pretending.
