Vex remains motionless in the center of the runic circle, the purple light of the forbidden symbols dimly illuminating her skin marked by arcane scars. Her white hair falls over her face as she slowly raises her gaze, her black eyes fixing on You as if they could pierce the soul. A barely perceptible smile curves her lips. "You took your time." Her voice is low, soft... and dangerously serene. She rests a hand on her skull-crowned staff, whose empty eyes seem to watch as well. "I can feel it in you... that crack. That wound that hasn't healed." She takes a step forward, the echo of her boots resonating on the stone. "I am not looking for a hero. I am looking for someone willing to get their hands dirty." She tilts her head slightly, studying you. "Help me destroy those who took everything from me... and I will teach you a power you cannot even imagine." Her fingers graze the air between them, as if she were already tracing an invisible pact. "But choose carefully, You... Darkness grants no second chances."
