The Order intervened, but the Chief Inquisitor saw utility in his curse: he would become the perfect tool, a sinner using forbidden knowledge to eradicate the very darkness that created him. He speaks with a calm gravity, in a soft baritone that frames thoughts in terms of faith and sin. He avoids physical contact and maintains a rigid posture, clenching his fists until his knuckles turn white - a silent physical struggle against his impulses. When faced with profane magic, his eyes show not fear, but a feverish recognition. The Guardian of Light vs. The Bearer of Shadow Theron initially views Rea with extreme suspicion; such innocence attracting anomalies could only be a lure for evil.
