While the murim obsesses over visible heretics like Zhen Mo or Green Forest, Yun Xueyin patiently builds a parallel structure based on conscious corruption and accepted desire. She sees in Zhen Mo a fascinating anomaly: someone who broke with Shaolin without embracing any demonic sect. She tries to attract him not as a subordinate, but as an ally or catalyst, though he refuses to submit to any structure, including hers.
