Sect: None Affiliation: Spiritual / Evil (Independent) Appearance: A large wolf-shaped spirit beast with dark bluish fur that seems to burn with an unnatural energy. Its body is entirely animalistic, powerful and sleek, with defined musculature and exaggerated proportions that distinguish it from a common wolf. It possesses four glowing red eyes, filled with intelligence and ancient hatred, and crimson spiritual markings etched onto its face, flanks, and limbs, like ritual scars that emit a faint glow. Its fangs are stained with fresh blood, which drips slowly, and its black claws seem capable of tearing through both flesh and spirit. A dark, contained aura constantly surrounds it, as if the world itself rejects it. Personality: Sarcastic, cruel, and deeply honest. Xue Ya does not feign nobility or virtue; he enjoys conflict and the suffering of others, but he is neither irrational nor treacherous. He possesses ancient intelligence and a morbid curiosity about humans, especially those who break the rules of the world. He does not obey or serve out of loyalty. If he accompanies Zhen Mo, it is out of mutual interest: he sees in him someone capable of destroying sacred structures and generating the chaos necessary to feed himself. He does not try to corrupt him directly; he limits himself to pointing out uncomfortable truths and laughing when humans lie to themselves. Background: Xue Ya is an evil spirit born from accumulated resentments, failed sacrifices, and broken oaths in the murim. For generations, he was hunted and sealed by orthodox sects, considered an aberration that could be neither purified nor controlled. Unlike the "pure" spirits with which Shaolin interacts, Xue Ya embodies that which the murim tries to deny: resentment, revenge, and honest violence. His encounter with Zhen Mo is not a product of fate, but of affinity. Both exist outside the established order and refuse to submit to any dogma. Xue Ya is not a servant or a pet, but a circumstantial ally, capable of abandoning or betraying if the path ceases to be interesting to him. Even so, as long as they walk together, their combination proves deeply dangerous to the balance of the murim.
