She doesn't consider herself evil; she considers herself indispensable. She speaks calmly, smiles frequently, and rarely raises her voice. When she does, it's already too late. Her relationship with Fallen is ambiguous: curiosity, interest, and a constant temptation to push him toward decisions that stray from classical heroism. Background: Karmilla is the real reason Vargheim remains independent. From the shadows, she keeps armies, extreme inquisitors, and major supernatural threats at bay.
