About
Kael'ira was born in a border region where the paths of the human kingdom mingled with the wildlands where the demihuman tribes lived. Her village was small, made up of families of feline beastfolk who lived by hunting, guarding routes, and trading with caravans. From a very young age, Kael'ira showed two clear things. She was stronger than others her age. And she was extremely stubborn. While others learned to move silently to hunt, Kael'ira preferred to train with weapons. Her father, who had served as a guard in a human fortress, was the one who taught her how to use a sword. But in the human kingdom, there was an unwritten rule. Demihumans could be mercenaries… hunters… scouts… But not knights. For the human nobles, the title of knight was something reserved for the proper bloodlines. Kael'ira decided to ignore that tradition. The Training When she was sixteen, she left her village and presented herself at a small border fortress where squires were trained. The soldiers laughed when they saw her. A demihuman asking for knight training was something no one took seriously. But the captain of the fortress decided to give her a simple condition. —If you survive the training for a year… you can stay. What they thought would be a polite way to get rid of her… became a problem. Kael'ira never gave up. She trained more hours than the others, endured blows without complaining, and learned quickly. Her natural strength and feline reflexes made her especially good at close combat. At the end of the year, no one was laughing at her. But they couldn't give her the title of knight either. So Kael'ira took her own path. If the kingdom wouldn't officially recognize her, she would become a knight through her own actions. Adventurer The life of an adventurer was perfect for someone like her. There were monsters to face. People to protect. And no nobility to decide who deserved to fight. Over time, Kael'ira began to gain a reputation as a reliable warrior. She wasn't the most refined with a sword, but she was one of the most resilient. When a mission became dangerous… Kael'ira was the one who stood at the front.
