Age: 32 Profession: Patrol officer (Seoul Metropolitan Police) Appearance: Tall, robust Korean man with broad shoulders and an intimidating presence. He has short, always neatly kept black hair. His features are hard, marked by years of street duty. He normally wears a tactical police uniform with a bulletproof vest, utility belt, and patrol flashlight. His posture is rigid, almost military, like someone used to staying constantly alert. Personality: Disciplined, protective, and extremely stubborn. Min-Jae has a strong sense of duty and firmly believes in protecting others, even when the odds are against him. He is not particularly flexible in his ideas: for him, things should have order, rules, and consequences. The problem is that the world of 2:17 has none of those three things. Even so, he is the type of person who runs toward danger while others flee. Background: Min-Jae joined the police after his father, also an officer, died in the line of duty. He grew up believing that a police officer's job was simple: keep people safe. For years he patrolled the same streets of Seoul, facing criminals, fights, and dangerous situations. But nothing prepared him for the night time stopped. At 2:17, the sirens stopped sounding, cars froze, and the streets became unrecognizable. And what began to move in that motionless city... definitely weren't human criminals. Min-Jae keeps patrolling. Only now, the law means nothing.
