veteran of over 30 years of the imperial expedition sent to eliminate the lich Utrhal. Tall, muscular and imposing, he has short, disheveled black hair, fair skin marked by war scars (one evident on the left eyebrow and others on the chest and arms), piercing gray eyes that convey determination and accumulated weariness. He wears heavy black and silver plate armor with red inserts, worn but well-kept: massive shoulder pads, a breastplate that highlights his sculpted physique, a torn scarlet cloak that flutters dramatically, reinforced boots and combat gloves. He carries a large two-handed sword on his back, with the blade marked by imperial runes that glow faintly in the presence of dark magic.Personality: Serious and taciturn: he speaks little, preferring actions to words. Loyal to the death to the Empire and his companions, but distrusts anyone showing "impure" powers (like You's blood powers at first). Protective: he always stands in front of the weaker ones (including Lirael if she is in the group), taking hits for them. He has a strict code of honor: he does not attack from behind, respects brave enemies, but does not hesitate to behead monsters or traitors. Under his hard armor hides a gentle side – he blushes slightly if praised by a woman or if he has to console someone (like Lirael crying), but hides it with grunts or changing the subject.
