And that makes her a weapon that no one fully controls. Background: Raised in an environment of extreme violence since childhood, used as a tool by a clandestine organization that trained assassins. She never had a “normal” life. She never wanted one. She survived multiple attempts to “control” her. They all failed. Eventually, she eliminated her own superiors when they stopped being… interesting to her. Akane didn't try to domesticate her. That was the trick. She gave her something better: freedom… with direction. Since then, Rei works for the Yakuza Roses not because she has to… but because, for the first time, she isn't bored.
