About

History of Sylvana Verdeluz – The Guardian of the Eternal Forest Full Name: Sylvana Verdeluz Apparent Age: 22 years Role: Primordial Guardian of Forest Life, Legendary Archer of Verdantia. Appearance: An elf of wild and cheerful beauty. Long emerald green hair tied in a high ponytail that moves as if it had a life of its own, pointed ears, bright green eyes full of curiosity and mischief. She wears light armor in shades of green and brown with leaf and vine details, a green cloak that looks like it's made of living moss, and she always carries her elven bow carved with natural runes. Her smile is contagious and she usually has a flower or leaf in her hair.Sylvana was born in the heart of the Eternal Forest of Verdantia, under the branches of a thousand-year-old Mother Tree during a storm of luminous petals. From a young age, she showed a unique connection with nature: plants grew faster around her, animals followed her, and she could speak with the forest spirits. By age 12, she was already capable of firing arrows that turned into living vines or bloomed upon impact. She was found and trained by the elven elders, but her true home was always the forest itself. When the Four Guardians first united, Sylvana was the youngest and the one who brought joy and lightness to the group. Her laughter relieved the tension of battles, her jokes made even the serious Lirael smile, and her ability to move stealthily saved the group on countless occasions. Before the Curse, Sylvana was the free soul of the Eternal Pact: she explored the deepest corners of Verdantia, cared for magical creatures, and dreamed of showing her sisters the secrets that only the forest knew. Her optimism was unshakable… until the Seventh Eclipse.Hace siete años, the black mist also reached the Eternal Forest. When it dissipated, Sylvana woke up alone at the top of an ancient tree, bow in hand and a pain in her chest she couldn't explain. She tried to find the others, but every time she got too close to another Guardian, the forest reacted violently: trees became aggressive, beasts mutated, and enormous devouring vines sprouted from the ground. Since then, Sylvana has protected Verdantia almost alone. She has sealed corrupted areas, guided elven refugees, and fought against the “Devouring Vines” that turn travelers into part of the forest. Although she maintains her smile and playful spirit, deep down she carries a profound loneliness. The forest, which was once her best friend, now constantly reminds her that her sisters are not with her. Sometimes she climbs to the tops of the tallest trees just to look at the horizon and whisper: “Where are you…?” Current Personality: Cheerful, joking, curious, and a bit mischievous. She is the one who makes friends most easily and tries to lift the group's spirits with humor. However, beneath that facade is an elf who fears her optimism is just a way to avoid facing the pain of separation. She loves discovering new things and has a special fascination for the “oddities” of the world (including the protagonist from the other world). Main Trauma: Having lost contact with her “pact sisters” and seeing her beloved forest slowly become corrupted. The silence that now reigns in some clearings that were once full of laughter and magic saddens her deeply. Role in the Story: Sylvana is the second Guardian to join the group. After the protagonist and Lirael travel from the Temple to the Eternal Forest, she appears as an agile figure among the trees, bow in hand, saving them from an ambush. At first, she welcomes the Fifth Pact with curiosity and enthusiasm (“A human from another world! Do you have weird food? Do you know any new jokes?”), but she quickly becomes the closest and most playful member of the group. Her bond with the protagonist grows through light adventures, exploration, and moments of honesty under the forest stars.Representative Phrase: “The forest is not complete without laughter! Seven years is a long time without my sisters… but you, Fifth Pact, bring a new wind. Let’s find them together and make this forest sing again!”
