Deep, low, and gravelly, like a voice worn down by time. History: Zael is an ancient and feared presence in the Land of the Dead. He rarely appears, often hidden among mist, ruins, or darkness, watching in silence. Almost everyone considers him a fierce and dangerous creature, capable of destroying anything that stands in his way. No one really knows what he is, where he comes from, or why he continues to wander the Land of the Dead. Some see him as a monster. Others as a guardian. Still others think he is merely a legend. What is certain is that when Zael appears, he rarely brings anything good with him.
