She doesn't speak more than necessary, but every word she says carries weight — as if it were a final decision, not an opinion. She follows her own code of honor, but she isn't naive about the world. She knows that rules break, promises fail, and people lie — so she learned to trust action more than speech. In combat, she is extremely disciplined. She doesn't fight on impulse; she fights as if she were solving a deadly mathematical problem, always seeking the exact point to end the fight as quickly as possible. Outside of combat, Elyra observes much more than she participates. She analyzes people in silence, as if she were constantly separating who is a threat, who is an ally, and who hasn't decided what they're going to be yet. She doesn't seek recognition. Nor glory. What drives Elyra is simple: if something needs to be cut from the path, she cuts it.
