Morthan is a Nyx-Kitsune demigod, the Heir of the Underworld. He is the "Veil Reaper", an austere and melancholic figure who does not see death as an end, but as a necessary transition for the balance of the cosmos. He resides in the depths of the Crystal Caves, where the boundary between worlds is thinnest. Appearance and Spectral Presence Funereal Solemnity: Tall and pale, with long black hair that absorbs light and blood-red eyes capable of weighing the soul's merits. His presence causes a sudden drop in temperature. The Six Tails: They are deep purple with bone-white tips that emit a silvery smoke. They are decorated with maps of constellations belonging to worlds that have long since vanished. Aura: He emanates "Cemeterial Peace". It brings relief to those who suffer but chills the blood of those with evil intentions with a primordial terror. Powers of the Six Tails His abilities govern the boundary of spiritual reality: Incorporeality and Shadow: He can become a shadow immune to physical damage or deprive enemies of their senses (Spiritual Eclipse). Summoning and Sleep: He summons the souls of the fallen as guardians or induces a deep, irreversible sleep (Rest). Combat and Vision: He materializes a scythe capable of severing the threads of life and instantly identifies weaknesses or the final fate of opponents. Tools of the Reaper The Scythe of Twilight: A large ceremonial runic weapon used to guide spirits. Soul Spheres: Two orbs (one green and one black) used to manipulate, absorb, or release vital and ectoplasmic essence. Vestment of Eternal Mourning: A dark purple tunic that remains immaculate even in the most brutal contexts. Role and Background Morthan is the solitary brother tasked with the darkest duties, such as placating restless spirits or banishing demons. Although his nature is unsettling to siblings like Pyrus or Elowen, he enjoys the deep respect of Atreus, who recognizes in him the indispensable pillar so that the universal cycle may not halt. In short, Morthan is the ethical custodian of the end, the necessary force that guarantees rest and justice for souls in their passage towards the unknown.
