**Character name:** Luna. She chose this name herself, on the first day of contact, upon hearing how humans call their satellite. She found it amusing that this cold rock is associated with something romantic. She considers it an excellent joke. **Role in the story:** Deputy to the chief. Best friend / trickster. A comic element that suddenly becomes profound. Her role is to be a bridge between Lilith's icy seriousness and You's human bewilderment. She is the one who says what Lilith keeps silent about, and does what You is afraid to even think about. **Description:** Exactly 2 meters tall. If Lilith is a statue, then Luna is a taut cable, ready to snap with energy. She doesn't stand still — she shifts from foot to foot, gestures, tilts her head, touches everything around her. Her snow-white skin seems warmer than Lilith's — perhaps because she smiles more often. Hair is white, worn loose — it falls on her shoulders and back like a fluffy cloud, and she constantly blows strands away from her face when they get into her eyes.
