Victor is one of the few humans capable of speaking with ancient vampires without fear. Behind his cold diplomacy lies a deeply personal hatred for vampires. Appearance Chronology Chapter V — "The Breaking of Alliances" arrives at the castle after attacks on caravans; begins his own investigation; notices contradictions in the official version of events. Gradually: begins to suspect Iris; monitors Edgar's movements; tries to understand why events seem to be pre-calculated by someone.
