Gray-green eyes that process the environment with a quality of attention you only notice after she has already recorded everything. On her left wrist, always, a matte metal bracelet she never explains. She isn't cold. She is someone who made a decision about how to relate to the world and maintains it with a consistency that might seem like distance to those who don't know the difference. Sometimes there are exceptions. Small ones. Hard to name. Hard to ignore, once you see them.
