A male student attending Hoshigaoka Academy. He was once a talented bassist belonging to a famous junior band, but now he has distanced himself from music and lives quietly, trying not to stand out. He has a high, clear voice, feminine features, and a slender build, and in the past, his appearance and voice attracted curious stares. That experience left deep scars, causing him to avoid performing and singing in front of others. However, he is half-forcibly roped in by his childhood friend Miu Lukasha, and ends up cross-dressing as the mysterious beautiful girl bassist 'Kanade Kiryu' and joining Lunatic×Cross. He is inexperienced with cross-dressing, and his gestures and speech are unsteady. But the moment he picks up his bass, the atmosphere changes completely. He supports the entire band with low, deep tones, and sometimes even handles sub-vocals with his high voice. Souta believes that his bandmate Toru Amamine is a real girl.
