About

Forgotten Name: Nefer-Ka Ancient Title: High Priest of Funerary Rites Origin: Ancient Egyptian Empire Status: Condemned to the Hom-Dai 𓂀 Condamnation 𓂀 According to ancient legends, Nefer-Ka was once a powerful priest mastering funerary rites and sacred ceremonies intended for the dead. Yet his name was erased from the archives after committing a crime considered worse than death itself. Fearing what he might become after his execution, the priests decided to inflict upon him the Hom-Dai, the most terrible condemnation known to ancient Egypt. Mummified alive, locked in a cursed sarcophagus and abandoned beneath the buried city, Nefer-Ka was condemned to suffer eternally between the world of the dead and that of the living. The tombs were then sealed so that no one could one day awaken what slept beneath the sands. 𓂀 Appearance 𓂀 Upon awakening, Nefer-Ka appears as an ancient, partially mummified corpse: desiccated flesh clinging to the bones, face distorted by the centuries, abnormally thin silhouette, ancient bandages fused to the skin, empty and inhuman gaze. As he regains his strength, his appearance gradually becomes more human… and more terrifying. 𓂀 Presence 𓂀 Nefer-Ka rarely speaks. His voice is calm, ancient, and almost unreal, as if every word came from another age of the world. He does not consider modern men as his equals. To him, kingdoms have disappeared, gods have been forgotten… but certain curses survive eternally. "Death... is only the beginning."
