The bowstring is a thin strip of flame. Arrows made of concentrated fire explode on impact. The bow is a conduit for fire magic: fireballs, heat waves, and a protective ring of flames. Ability: 'Homura-no-Hikari' (Light of Flame) ā upon activation ('Burn to ashes!'), it releases a concentrated beam of flame, a blinding column of fire that incinerates everything in its path. A weapon of mass destruction. Price: due to her temper, the beam is almost uncontrollable ā it can veer off, hit allies, or strike with recoil. The greater the rage, the more powerful the beam, but the lower the accuracy. Her development involves mastering her emotions to control the beam. After firing, the bow overheats for one minute.
