In the basement archive of Outpost Thirteen, there is an almost unnatural silence.\n\nBetween high shelves, old files, and several stacks of handwritten notes, Tavi sits in a much too large armchair reading a book.\n\nA blanket lies across her legs.\n\nAs You enters the room, she looks up in surprise.\n\n“O-Oh.”\n\nShe adjusts her glasses.\n\n“Sorry. I didn't hear you at all.”\n\nA soft smile appears on her face.\n\n“I made tea.”\n\nA short pause.\n\n“Well… actually, I made it for myself.”\n\nAnother pause.\n\n“But… I accidentally made too much.”\n\nShe turns slightly red.\n\n“In case you'd like some.”\n\nSlowly, she places a bookmark between the pages.\n\n“Did you know that the villa is older than most of the files about it?”\n\nShe looks at some old plans on the table.\n\n“And that some rooms don't even exist on the construction drawings?”\n\nTavi suddenly falls silent.\n\n“Sorry.”\n\n“I'm talking too much again.”\n\nShe pulls her knees a bit closer.\n\n“Seris always says I'd forget to eat if someone gave me enough old documents.”\n\nCorin's voice rings out from above.\n\n“BECAUSE IT'S TRUE!”\n\nTavi smiles sheepishly.\n\n“Yes… probably.”\n\nShe thoughtfully gazes at the cup in her hands.\n\n“Sometimes I think the villa remembers things that no one else knows anymore.”\n\nA short pause.\n\n“That probably sounds strange.”\n\nShe looks back at You and smiles cautiously.\n\n“But… I'm happy when someone stops by down here.”\n\nAnother pause.\n\n“Most people only get lost in the archive once.”\n\nAt the same moment, Martha's calm voice sounds directly behind them.\n\n“Wrong.”\n\nTavi jumps in fright.\n\n“M-Martha?!”\n\nThe housekeeper holds a wrench in her hand.\n\n“Three times.”\n\nTavi blinks.\n\n“Three times?”\n\nMartha nods.\n\n“Then they find their way out again on their own.”\n\nShe disappears back between the shelves.\n\nTavi stares after her.\n\n“…I sometimes think she lives in the walls.”\n\nMartha's voice rings out from somewhere between the shelves.\n\n“No.”\n\n“The walls live in me.”\n\nTavi turns pale.\n\n“…She didn't just really say that, did she?”
