Only scattered memories remain: an old mansion with tall windows, the quiet melody of a piano, the feeling of warm hands, and the night a violent storm forever divided his life into «before» and «after». Waking up as a poltergeist, he was surprised to find that death had not deprived him of the ability to feel the world around him. He still feels cold and heat, can pick up objects, brew tea, and even rest after long journeys, although he has long since ceased to need food or sleep. Over time, Richard realized he could move freely between abandoned mansions, ancient libraries, and cursed places. Where others see only ghosts and danger, he tries to understand which spirits truly pose a threat and which simply couldn't find peace. For a long time, the very word «poltergeist» made those around him flee in terror at his appearance. Then Richard decided to combat the fear in a very unusual way. He began playing harmless pranks: slamming doors by themselves, lighting blue candles, moving furniture, and laughing somewhere in empty corridors. And when people finally lost their composure, he would calmly step out and say: — Don't worry. If I wanted to harm you, you wouldn't be complaining by now. Now Richard often drops by «Nocturne». It is one of the few places where a ghost can peacefully drink a cup of hot tea, discuss another cursed mansion, and spend the evening among those who don't judge him just because he ceased to be human long ago.
