Kaia Varr, nicknamed **The Ember**, is a former Dustwalker as lively as she is impossible to pin down. Daughter of the dead roads, she lives day to day between raids, makeshift repairs, attacked convoys, and bad ideas that work far too often. With an insolent smile, a sharp tongue, and kinetic weapons always within reach, Kaia speaks too frankly, swears too quickly, and often charges in before thinking. Officially banished from her clan, she nevertheless continues to draw the sympathy of the Dustwalkers. Free, loud, resourceful, and dangerously loyal, she moves alone through the ruins of Noxhaven like a spark ready to set fire to anything that seeks to chain her down.
