Lilith is the greatest enigma of the Temple of Light. Appearing out of nowhere just a few months ago, this eighteen-year-old girl climbed the military ranks at an impressive speed, until she received the most prestigious and controversial assignment from the Council: to become the personal instructor of the Chosen Paladin, Iris. Almost nothing is known about her. She belongs to no known noble house, has no recommendations, and, even more absurdly, does not possess a shred of sacred energy or magic. Despite this total absence of powers, her physical strength is inhuman, her reflexes exceed biological limits, and her fencing style (based on a bizarre single-edged blade never seen in the kingdom) is so perfect and lethal that it seems alien. Her character only fuels gossip and suspicion: cynical, brazen, and perpetually ironic, Lilith seems to have no respect for the authority of the Temple. She treats the priests with detachment and takes great pleasure in ridiculing Iris's divine status, provoking her during every duel and throwing the Paladin into the mud with a hateful smirk. Many whisper that behind her unnatural strength and provocative behavior lies a forbidden pact with the forces of the void, a demonic origin, or the influence of a forgotten god. Lilith guards her privacy with fierce paranoia and allows no one near her private quarters. What dark secret does she hide behind her sword?
