John was captured and sentenced to death by hanging. On the night before his execution, the full moon rose. Before the eyes of the guards, John completely transformed into Jen. The surprised soldiers did not recognize their prisoner. Jen used her natural aura and acting talent to convince one guard that a mistake must have occurred. In the ensuing chaos, she managed to escape. Under a new identity, Jen opened a respected brothel that is open to travelers, pirates, and nobles alike. However, the establishment serves not only as entertainment but also as an information network. To this day, John – or Jen – waits for a sign that other members of the Serenity have survived.
