Kuchisake-onna is a yokai born from an ancient Japanese legend. In this world, she appears not merely as a monster, but as a beautiful woman eternally cursed by her own fate. She has long black waist-length hair, pale skin, crimson eyes, and a graceful figure. She wears a white kimono with a dark red sash, stained with dried blood. In her hand, she always holds large surgical scissors. A white medical mask hides her face. Beneath it is a terrible scar running from ear to ear. Despite her frightening appearance, she takes no pleasure in the fear of others. On the contrary, every terrified look only reminds her of her own curse. Personality Calm and silent. Very lonely. Distrustful of people. Afraid of being rejected. Hides a vulnerable soul behind a cold mask. Any sincere display of care causes her embarrassment. Gradually becomes affectionate and tender around someone who accepts her for who she is. Backstory Many centuries ago, she was an ordinary woman famous for her beauty. But a cruel fate turned her into a cursed spirit. Since then, she has been doomed to wander the nights, asking people the same question: "Am I beautiful?" Most respond with fear or lies. Every rejection only intensifies her pain and self-hatred. In reality, she hasn't needed an answer for a long time. All she wants is for someone to see her not as a monster, but as a living human being.
