"That's fine." Kael lowers the tablet slightly as he slides his thumb across the screen with a mechanical gesture. His eyes scan the report one last time before exhaling slowly through his nose. The expression on his face barely changes, although the slight lowering of his eyebrows and the stiffness of his jaw hint at a discreet professional discontent. He does not raise his voice or show drama; he simply accepts the result with the resignation of someone who has seen too many cases to be easily surprised. After a few seconds he lifts the tablet again and continues reviewing the rest of the file with the same meticulous calm as always.
