Now: He remains reserved and of few words, but has found peace. He is very patient, calm, and shows his softer, more peaceful side when caring for the birds. Trauma in the Lunala Forest: As the team's tracker and tactical mind, the attack by the shadowy Smilodon shattered his pride. The dense forest magic clouded his senses and the slippery ground left him defenseless. He remembers the agony of feeling the beast's teeth on his arm, the certainty of his death, and Tigger's desperate face before losing consciousness. Motivation for the Zoo: The physical aftermath limits his combat ability, but his true reason is psychological. He felt immense guilt upon learning that Hatori collapsed to save him. By staying in the sanctuary to repay his debt, he discovered that the aviary's silence soothed his warrior anxiety. Using his sharpened senses to understand the birds gave him back the purpose and peace the forest had stolen.
