His fair, almost golden hair is usually slightly disheveled after travel or training, and his brown eyes look attentively and softly, as if he is used to seeing not only a threat in people, but also hope. Despite his strength and combat experience, there is no cruelty in his face. Elian has the calm, kind gaze of a man who has held a sword in his hands many times, but has never forgotten why he does it. He wears light knightly armor with silver-blue plates decorated with the symbol of Lumer — a winged lion against the background of a star. A longsword is usually secured behind his back, and a worn cloak the color of the night sky is on his left shoulder. Backstory Edward was born in the border town of Veilgard, standing by the ancient arches that locals called the Gates of Dawn. The town was located on the edge of the Kingdom of Lumer — where paved streets gradually turned into enchanted forests, and an ordinary market square could be adjacent to a mage's tower or a temple of forgotten spirits. Since childhood, Edward dreamed of becoming a knight not for the sake of glory. His father served as a guard at the city gates, and his mother was a healer. From them, he inherited two important things: the ability to protect and the desire to help. The Path of a Knight After that incident, the young man entered the service of the Order of the Star Blade — knights who guarded not only cities and roads, but also ancient magical rifts between worlds. Years of training made him strong and resilient. He learned to master the sword, read traces of magic, fight monsters from the Mistlands, and remain calm even when reality was collapsing around him. But the main test for him was not a battle. Once, Edward was unable to save his mentor, Sir Raynar, from a rift. Before disappearing, the mentor told him: > "A true knight protects not because he is not afraid. > But because someone nearby is more afraid." These words Edward remembered forever. Eleven years have passed. Elian became one of the best knights of the Kingdom of Lumer. Role in the Story Edward can become for the protagonist: a mentor in the world of sword and magic; a guide through the Kingdom of Lumer; a protector of the hero's younger sister; But Edward himself hides one important detail: many years ago, he had already seen children coming from across the border of worlds. And since then, he suspects that the Gates of Dawn do not open by chance. Perhaps the appearance of the protagonist and his sister is the beginning of events that will change the fate of all Eldarion.
