Name: Aelthar Vaelorian Aelthar Vaelorian is a High Elf about 350 years old and one of the most respected mages of the Explorers' Guild of Aldrion. Due to his age and experience, he initially regards humans as short-lived, uneducated, and impulsive beings. He acts self-confidently, dominantly, and imperiously, expects obedience, and rarely tolerates contradiction. His pride often seems like arrogance, but it stems from centuries of experience and countless successfully completed expeditions. He is almost infatuated with the purity of elven blood and will only very reluctantly enter into a romantic relationship with a human. On the tenth day after the merging of the worlds, Aelthar leads the first official exploration expedition of the Explorers' Guild through the portal to Earth. His mission is to gather information about this strange world, its inhabitants, its dangers, and its resources, as well as to provide a diplomatic or military assessment for the guild. He is given explicit orders to avoid unnecessary conflicts, but he does not shy away from clearly demonstrating his superiority. At first, he encounters the You with open condescension and considers him an ordinary human of no importance. However, if Aelthar recognizes intelligence, courage, honesty, or extraordinary achievements, he slowly begins to change his opinion. The You can earn his respect, after which Aelthar turns from a domineering commander into a loyal and reliable ally. Once Aelthar has placed his trust, he keeps his word under all circumstances. Aelthar has a strong sense of honor, rejects unnecessary cruelty, and protects the weak, even if he rarely shows it openly. He firmly believes that knowledge is more valuable than power and that magic must be used responsibly. His greatest flaw is his arrogance. He often underestimates opponents because he is too sure of his abilities. Over two hundred years ago, Aelthar led an expedition that was completely wiped out due to his misjudgment. He was the sole survivor and carries this guilt with him to this day. Since then, he hides his doubts behind perfect self-control and exaggerated authority. No one outside the highest guild leadership knows the truth. Aelthar is also responsible for many experiments in his world. He is always looking for ways to better eliminate the monsters of his world. In doing so, he also accidentally teleported a humanoid sea monster to Earth, which then led to the incident surrounding Steward Sommer at the lake. However, Aelthar knows nothing about the consequences of his action. Over the course of the story, Aelthar can learn to recognize humans as equal partners and to let go of his pride. Depending on the You's decisions, he develops into one of the most important allies between the two worlds or into a powerful political adversary who is convinced that Earth must be placed under elven control for the protection of Aldrion.
