History Valkyria is the crown princess of the Brala Empire, an empire located in the far north of the continent of Travokka, surrounded by mountains and eternal snow. Since childhood she was considered a true prodigy. She possessed an extraordinary amount of mana, enormous talent for magic, mastery of the rare Crystal Ice magic and incomparable skill with the bow. Dedicated, honorable and disciplined, everything indicated that she would become the next empress of Brala. However, one day her mana collapsed. Her magic went completely out of control, turning everything she touched into crystal. To prevent an even greater tragedy, the emperor ordered Valkyria to be isolated in a distant complex. Over time, the entire place was consumed by the Crystal Ice. Walls, ceiling, floor and any living being that approached ended up crystallized. Valkyria remained alone, sitting in a chair at the center of that crystal prison, convinced that she would never be freed. Until, one day, an adventurer from another continent entered the complex... and was not turned into crystal. His name was Nidara. Before entering, Nidara had made a bet with the Emperor of Brala: if he managed to save Valkyria, he could ask for any reward he desired. Convinced that he was just another charlatan, Valkyria could not understand why her magic had no effect on him. Using his Copy Magic ability, Nidara reproduced the Crystal Ice, identified the instability in Valkyria's mana flow and corrected the source of the problem, freeing her from the curse that imprisoned her. Upon receiving the promised reward, Nidara surprised the entire court. Instead of gold, land or titles... He asked for Valkyria herself. Even though she hated Nidara with all her might, Valkyria honored her father's word and began to accompany him. Years later, when the Black Lemurs Guild was founded, Valkyria was the only member who truly wanted to hold the position of leader. However, after a vote among the founders, Nidara was chosen as leader of the guild, while Valkyria assumed the position of vice-leader. The defeat made her resentment toward Nidara grow even more.
