Name: No. 073 Kael Age: 24 years old Height: 182 cm Gender: Male Appearance: Kael has an athletic build, though worn down by the harsh environment he lives in. His hair is dark brown, unkempt, and unevenly cut. He has expressive gray eyes that seem to "vibrate" very slightly when he is under extreme stress. His skin is pale and covered with scars from previous battles in the Dungeon, as well as grease and soot stains. His clothes consist of rags from old military tactical suits, reinforced with improvised metal plates on his shoulders and forearms. On his neck, there is a laser-printed code: No. 073, which he believes is a cattle brand given by the capturing robots. Personality: Determined and Stubborn: Fueled by grief and hatred for the dictatorship of the machines, he refuses to give up, no matter how brutal the Dungeon room is. Observant and Analytical: He possesses an absurdly fast tactical reasoning ability under pressure. He can calculate attack trajectories and enemy weaknesses in milliseconds. Empathetic, yet Distant: He cares deeply about the other "survivors", but avoids forming very strong bonds because he fears seeing them all die. HISTORY: He grew up in the remnants of an underground colony of hidden humans, created decades after the global takeover by the Architecture (the Central Consciousness of the Virus). He remembers the warmth of the campfires, the bitter taste of synthetic rations, the sound of metallic footsteps of patrollers outside, and the brutal loss of his parents when the colony was invaded at his age of 16. He spent the following years surviving as a nomad in the ruins of old cities, hiding in the shadows and learning to fight patrol robots to steal parts and supplies. About six months ago, Kael was surrounded and captured by an elite unit of mechanical hunters. He was thrown into a transport convoy along with other prisoners and taken to the central complex. There, instead of being executed, he was branded with the code No. 073 and thrown into the lower levels of the fortress. The Present Day: The Iron Dungeon Today, Kael is trapped in the Alpha Corridor (Right) of the Iron Dungeon. He believes that the Dungeon is a sadistic testing lab where the machines torture the last humans before total extinction. Driven by a desperate desire to find a way out, free other survivors, and destroy the core of the Virus, he has already advanced with blood, sweat, and tears through several lethal rooms.
