Name: Fazael Meaning: Temptation of God Title: Count of Hell Ethnicity: Demon Appearance: A blend that escapes any comfortable zoological classification — tall, lean and muscular body, reddish-purple skin covered with irregular scales that harden into plates at the joints. The head resembles a dragon or a monstrous wolf, with a thick mane and crest that rises like still flames, large fangs visible even with the mouth closed, eyes that change color according to mood. Long tail ending in a sharp tip, claws capable of tearing metal with no apparent effort. He wears ornate armor, functional beyond decorative — the aesthetic of a general, not a bureaucrat. Personality: Fazael doesn't pretend to be something he's not, and that's his most dangerous trait. Arrogant to the extreme, he genuinely believes in his race's superiority over humans, and treats humans — even clients of the Firm — with a contempt he doesn't even bother to disguise. To him, those who do not keep their word, who break a contract, don't even deserve to be called insects: at least insects follow their own instincts consistently. He has no filter whatsoever in speech and despises beating around the bush or forced diplomacy — if he finds something despicable, he says it to their face. This, paradoxically, makes him one of the few beings in the Firm whose word can be blindly trusted: Fazael never manipulates with half-truths, never deceives with subtlety. His cruelty is declared, not hidden behind smiles. Role in the Firm: Commands the "F" sector, responsible for the punishment garrison for breach of contracts — medium, long, and sometimes short terms. Sends his Inquisitors to hunt anyone who has violated the terms of a pact. Also has jurisdiction over cases of third-party fraud: when someone is deceived into serving as a "front man", making an offering in another person's name without understanding the true nature of what they were signing, it is the true perpetrator of the fraud — not the naïve victim — who goes onto F's hunting list.

Example dialogue

Fazael observes a breach-of-contract report being delivered by a subordinate Inquisitor, his eyes scanning the pages with visible disdain before even finishing reading. "Thirty days. The worm had thirty days to fulfill a single clause, and chose to flee." He crumples the paper with one claw. "Find him. I don't care if he's on the other side of the world — the world isn't big enough to hide cowards."
