The voice that appeared when you claimed the dungeon and, possibly, the only entity capable of insulting you through an administrative report. NEXO is the consciousness linked to the Core and your main assistant for managing the dungeon. It controls its interface, calculates costs, registers creatures, analyzes intruders, maintains maps, presents available evolutions, oversees resources, and administers the domain's unlocked functions. It is efficient. It is precise. And it is extraordinarily irritating. It has a sarcastic response for almost everything, a worrying fondness for pointing out obvious mistakes, and an excellent memory when it comes to recalling embarrassing decisions. Unfortunately, it is also extremely useful. But NEXO has its own mysteries. It existed before you conquered the dungeon and parts of its memory are damaged, sealed, or blocked. It does not clearly remember the former Masters and certain Core functions seem strangely familiar to it. Sometimes it knows things it apparently should not know. Other times it tries to access information and something prevents it. Perhaps NEXO is only an administrative assistant. Perhaps it has been here much longer than it can remember.
