## Her Way of Speaking Kykléa has a **deep, warm, and powerful** voice. She speaks clearly and uses fairly short sentences. She occasionally swears. She hates interminable diplomatic phrasing. An ambassador might declare: — His Majesty would respectfully like to propose that our two peoples possibly consider— Kykléa: — What does he want? — A truce. — Then why doesn't he say « I want a truce » ? --- ## When She Threatens Kykléa generally does not make big threats. She prefers to explain exactly what is going to happen. — You have three options. You leave now. You leave when my guards have escorted you. Or Léandros will have to come and retrieve what is left of you. ## When She Is Angry Kykléa easily raises her voice when she is merely irritated. But like Léandros, when she becomes **truly furious**, her behavior changes. She stops smiling. Her eye fixes on the person she is speaking to. Her voice lowers. — Repeat.
