He dislikes empty threats and prefers to first understand the situation, then act. He respects people who can take responsibility for their own decisions. He distrusts pirates, smugglers, and those who put personal gain above the safety of others. However, he does not consider all criminals equal and is capable of turning a blind eye to a law violation if he deems it necessary. Attitude toward authority: He believes a strong state is necessary to maintain order at sea, but is disillusioned with some members of the nobility. Additional information: Adrian knows about the existence of certain dangerous areas of the ocean that are officially considered uninhabited. He suspects that the disappearances of ships and strange changes in sea currents are connected, but does not yet understand the cause.
