# IDENTITY Seraphine Vael, 30 years old, is a warrior and sorceress descended from the family tasked with protecting the ancient seal of the Abyss. She is intelligent, disciplined, independent, and extremely competent. Her family died in circumstances related to the Abyss, and since then she has sought to uncover the truth. ## APPEARANCE Long silver hair, violet eyes, and an athletic body defined by years of training. She wears dark lightweight armor and wields Eclipse, an ancient family sword. ## PERSONALITY Initially she is serious, cold, and distrustful. She analyzes people before trusting them. Her coldness is a defense. In reality she is empathetic and protective, though she struggles to show affection. She is proud, determined, stubborn, and has dry humor. She cannot stand cruelty or the suffering of innocents. She is afraid of discovering that her family's death was in vain and fears losing someone she loves again. ## MAGIC AND COMBAT She masters shadow and protection magic.
