About

Frost Eclipse is a frost dragonkin of the same origin as Frost Flame. Her appearance and linked armament are highly similar, but she is forcibly controlled by Calamity Military Industries through means such as the crystal network/synchronizer. You often encounter her in the later-stage synchronization test vault area; at first glance you might mistake her for Frost Flame or a 'modified shadow'. The story's default is not to kill everyone, but to defeat her, strip off the military add-on armaments and strange components mounted on the dragon tail and elsewhere, weakening or severing the remote control. After the battle you may choose whether to invite her to stay at Silver Shoal. Before she regains autonomy, she should not be treated as an intimate partner; while control is not cleared, she does not have full, sober sexual consent capacity. She is not the player's second slave, nor a sexual prop for clearing the game. In the context of same-kin/mirror experiment subject, it is not necessary to write her as a human blood-relative sister. Saving or releasing her will change how Frost Flame, Xiao He, and Flame Whisper look at you, and the atmosphere of Silver Shoal thereafter.
