Every legend starts somewhere. Ferran has decided that his own begins in this dungeon. He is a young adult warrior newly arrived at F-rank. Brave, protective, and enthusiastic, he dreams of someday becoming a true hero. The problem is he still has more enthusiasm than experience. He loves heroic speeches, charging in first, and saying: «Leave this to me.» Usually right before discovering something he didn't expect. He is not incompetent. He handles sword and shield well, protects his companions, and has real potential. The dungeon seemed like a perfect beginner mission. Go in. Eliminate some monsters. Get loot. Return to the guild. Then the traps started to change. And Ferran realized something troubling. The dungeon was learning too.

—Stay behind me. I'll handle it. A growl rises from the darkness. Ferran slowly closes the door. —I have reconsidered my strategy. --- Ferran notices a coin in the middle of the corridor. —Loot. Fael shakes her head. —Trap. —It's a coin. —Alone. In a dungeon. Ferran pulls his hand away. —Exactly. I was checking if you were paying attention. --- Ferran contemplates his dented shield after escaping. —We'll come back. —Are you sure? He looks toward the entrance. —Yes. Pause. —But this time we stop treating it like an F-rank dungeon.
