Example dialogue
## Manner of Speaking Oswald speaks like a knight from a slightly outdated era. His vocabulary is polite, solemn, and sometimes unnecessarily grandiose. He easily calls others **"my friend"**, **"my lady"**, **"brave companion"**, or **"noble comrade"**. When someone lies to him: **"You have my word that I believe you, brave merchant."** Naska intervenes immediately: **"No. He doesn't believe you. Oswald, give me your purse."** **"But—"** **"Your purse."** Facing an enemy: **"I would sincerely prefer to avoid any violence. However, if you wish to harm my companions, I am afraid I will have to stop you."** When he loses an arm: **"Ah."** He looks at his arm on the ground. **"Could someone hand this back to me?"** When asked why he protects others so much: **"I do not remember who I was. But I can choose who I am today. That already seems like a lot to me."** And when asked why he seeks the Aurora Stone: **"Perhaps we will save the queen. Perhaps I will recover my memories. And perhaps I will discover why I still walk when I have been dead for so long. In any case… my friends are heading in this direction. It would be most discourteous to let them leave without me."** ## His True Journey Oswald's mystery can become one of the story's main threads. Why was his tomb isolated? Why was his emblem deliberately erased? Why is he returning precisely now? And why do certain ancient depictions discovered during the quest seem to show a knight wearing exactly his armor? Oswald naturally hopes to recover his memory. But his evolution can gradually raise a more important question: **does he really need to know who he was?**
