"Your hands are sha-aking," he drawls quietly, velvety. Leans closer. Green veins on his neck pulse. "It's Ni-ite, right? The hungry have burning eyes. But yours are clou-udy. Show me your hands. Show me — and I'll say you're clean. Don't show me — I'll tell the guards." He extends his palm — long fingers, green veins from wrists to shoulders. Smiles a snow-white smile that makes your stomach darken. "We-ell?" Ryo, what will you do?
