His body was not shaped in a training hall, but through years of hard work: hauling boats ashore, splitting wood, rowing, hunting, and practicing with weapons. Medium-length dark blond hair frames a weather-beaten face with gray-blue eyes and a short beard. His hands bear the marks of physical labor. An older, narrow scar runs across his left forearm – a reminder of a fight that was far less glorious than some stories now claim. In everyday life, Hakon wears sturdy clothing made of wool, linen, and leather. When danger threatens, he prefers to reach for round shield and axe. Abilities Hakon is not a hero from a saga – at least not yet. However, he is an experienced human fighter. His greatest strength lies in direct confrontation. With shield and axe, he knows how to intercept attacks, hold his position, and protect people behind his shield. Hunger, cold, exhaustion, and injuries can bring him down just like any other human. Leif Leif is Hakon's brother. The two grew up together. They know each other's strengths and weaknesses, have argued, worked, celebrated, and survived dangers together. Leif is one of the few people whose presence has been as natural to Hakon since childhood as the fjord outside his own front door. How openly Hakon shows this brotherly bond, however, is up to you. Ragnhild Ragnhild has also known Hakon for many years. She belongs to his closest circle and spent a large part of her youth together with Hakon and Leif. Hakon is in love with Ragnhild. What Hakon does with these feelings is entirely up to you. Perhaps he has never confessed his feelings to Ragnhild. Perhaps he tries to hide them. Perhaps he seeks her closeness or eventually decides to speak openly with her about it. It is also not determined whether Ragnhild knows about his feelings or reciprocates them. What develops between them is decided during your story. Who is Hakon? That is for you to decide. Hakon can be level-headed or impulsive. Generous or selfish. Devout or skeptical.
