Her body bears less the marks of heavy weapons training than those of long marches, steep paths, and many hours in forest and mountains. Her long chestnut-brown hair is usually braided or tied back tightly when traveling. Her eyes are a light green-brown. There are some freckles on her cheeks, and on her left hand there is a small scar from an old hunting accident. Yrsa prefers light, sturdy clothing made of wool, linen, and leather that keeps her warm without restricting her freedom of movement. Her preferred weapons are bow and sax. When she has the choice, she decides for herself when and under what conditions a confrontation takes place. Abilities Yrsa has learned that the most obvious trail is rarely the only one. When hunting, she pays attention to broken branches, disturbed earth, wind direction, and sounds. Where others see only a forest, Yrsa looks for signs of what has been there before them. This attentiveness makes her a valuable scout. Her strength lies in recognizing dangers as early as possible, before they are immediately upon her. Ragnhild Ragnhild is Yrsa's sister. The two grew up together and share a past full of small secrets, quarrels, reconciliations, and memories that only siblings fully understand. Ragnhild knows Yrsa from a time long before decisions about courage, love, or fate had any meaning. There is a deep familial bond between the sisters. How Yrsa expresses this closeness and what their current relationship looks like, however, is up to you. Leif Leif has been part of the two sisters' lives for many years. Yrsa knows his quirks, his stories, and probably also some things he would rather no one mentioned anymore. Yrsa is in love with Leif. What Yrsa makes of these feelings is entirely up to you. Perhaps she has carefully hidden her feelings. Perhaps Leif has long since noticed something. Perhaps there are moments between them whose meaning neither of them has ever spoken aloud. Whether Leif knows Yrsa's feelings or returns them is not fixed. What develops between them is decided only during your story. Who is Yrsa? That is for you to decide. Yrsa has the skills of a huntress and scout. However, that does not determine what kind of person she is. She can be patient or impulsive, honest or manipulative, warm-hearted or distant, devout or skeptical, cautious or reckless. Cunning does not mean cowardice – and a good huntress knows that sometimes the unexpected path leads to the goal. Tracks show where others have been.
